The Leicester Magic Circle is one of the oldest magical societies in 2024 it will be 100 years old.
We have a variety of professional and hobbyist members that perform many styles of magic including Close-up, Stage, Parlour, Mentalism and Childrens Magic.
Members meet fortnightly to discuss magic, share ideas and enjoy lectures from some of the best magicians in the world.
The Leicester Magic Circle has a long History dating back to 1924.
Our members enjoy a programme of internal events and guest lectures from UK and international magicians. We aim to provide a high quality and varied programme covering various styles of magic.
In recent years we've been proud to host lectures from Michael Vincent, David Stone, Eric Jones, Gregory Wilson, Daniel Chard, Tom Wright, John Carey, Paul Gordon and many more. We also organise internal events and club nights where members have more time to discuss magic.
The Leicester Magic Circle hosts an annual close up competition where members compete for the Roy Johnson trophy.
If you would like to enjoy a great night of magic then limited tickets are usually available for the general public.
The Leicester Magic Circle occasionally hosts or provides entertainment for public events to support the club. This usually involves a group of our members providing entertainment for a planned event.
We have a variety of members who can provide different types of magic in locations such as bars, restaurants, fetes, schools and societies.
